I'm a young one year old Calico, the mother of the five "Gem" kittens (Moonstone, Topaz, Pearl, Diamond and Smoky Quartz). It is rumoured that when my owner died, his family threw me and my other feline friends outside to fend for ourselves. That was the most difficult time in our lives. Previously, we were indoor cats, had regular food, water, shelter and protection from the streets. Then all of a sudden, in the middle of winter, we found ourselves thrown outside... I was a young kitten at the time. I managed to survive (barely) and had a couple of litters of kittens along the way.
Thankfully, a kind individual took pity on me and my kittens outside and brought us in. I am now a happy cat, and hoping for my own forever home. I am affectionate, playful, and extremely intelligent (that's how I survived so long on my own outside). I would love a chance to sit on your lap and cuddle to let you know how much I appreciate you making me part of your forever family. We will all be ready for adoption in mid-September. I will be spayed and have had my vaccines by then (after I have finished nursing my kittens).
All of my kittens have been adopted but I am still looking for a home! |
