Sadly, due to unforeseen foundation damage to the building that Georgia's adopted mom was living in, everyone had to be evacuated. Georgia's mom was not able to move Georgia to her new temporary housing..... Georgia is back in a foster home. This beautiful girl is enjoying being patted and exploring her new digs, and would very much like a permanent home - especially with other cats. She is in a foster home with her brother Theo, and they would love to be adopted together if possible.
My name is Georgia - after Georgia O'Keefe. I am one of the kittens from the Group of 40
cats that was recently rescued from the cold outside. (Many of us were
named after artists and authors.) You can read about us in the recent media coverage.
I am so happy to be inside now that I really enjoy being patted and am
a lot less timid than some of my Group of 40 family. I am a gorgeous
medium-haired Calico, and am only 7 months old. I have a very sweet
disposition. I have been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. I
even had a special ear cleaning and treatment, as my ears were some of
the dirtiest anyone had seen! I come from a large family and am the
sister to the red-heads:Van Gogh, Rimbaud, Theo & Claudio . I
therefore adore other cats and would do well as a companion cat. Will
you please keep me out of the cold for good and give me a permanent
