Cat for Adoption
Desc
Joey was found on the side of a dirt road on the outskirts of Barrhaven. He was, with no exaggeration, a rack of bones with skin. Joey was very weak and having much difficulty walking on his hindlegs. He is a young adult - 1.5-2yrs old. He has been neutered and does have a microchip. All efforts have been made to find his original family, but no one has claimed him. He was obviously dumped.
Joey has made a huge recovery. He has gained 2 lbs, has normal cat-like agility, and uses the litterbox faithfully. Joey is loving the indoors, but is learning to be a 'cat' again. He is unsure of people, but after a few days has become his foster parent's shadow. Joey follows the other cats around and mimics some of their behaviours, such as play, begging for food, and showing affection.
Joey very much would like to find his own permanent family. He has so much to learn and give. He would prefer to be an indoor only cat as the outside has very much taken its toll on him.
