Adopted

Olga

I am a gorgeous, long-haired calico female - about 2 years old. And I have the sweetest disposition! I am friendly, affectionate and love everyone I meet. I am a very cuddly lap-kitty. I was first spotted outside in the fall. I had no home, so I asked people in the neighbourhood for food. Some ignored me, and but some kind souls helped me and put food and water out for me. I made my way to my rescuers porch, where she regularly put food & water out for me everyday. She was worried about me because she wanted me to have a home and be inside before the cold winter. As the weather got colder, my rescuer made a bed for me in a cardboard box. I had a friend outside. He was a beautiful orange tom cat, and we were always together. We even slept in the cardboard box together. One day, one of the neighbours decided they liked my friend, so they brought him inside and adopted him. They didn't want me, so I was left to sleep outside in the cardboard box on my own.... I never saw my friend again after that! Thankfully my rescuer had a heart, and wanted to help me. She was saddened that I was outside by myself now, and worried as it got colder. She brought me inside for quick periods of time to warm up. (She couldn't keep me inside very long, as she has a very small home with an aggressive male cat who would pounce on me and scare me. ) My rescuer contacted various rescue groups to try and help me, but they were all full, so I remained outside. One lucky day, a foster home opened up with Hungry and Homeless Cat Rescue, so I was suddenly brought inside. Since coming in, I have been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed and de-fleaed. I am great with other cats, and would enjoy a home with a companion (as I enjoyed my friend outside). I am very affectionate and am always at my foster's side. If you adopt me, you will not regret your decision, and will forever have a grateful companion at your side. Why don't you try it?
