Cat for Adoption
Hello, my name is Patty. I'm a 6-year old (almost 7) orange and white female tabby (which is very rare - usually only males have this colouring)! I am fixed and have all my baby vaccines. I am an indoor cat and have my claws, but prefer a using scratching post rather than the furniture. I am a very affectionate cat that absolutely loves people (especially kids). I am also good with other cats. I like to think of myself as more like a small dog than a cat because I crave attention all the time and even love to follow my owners around the house.
It wasn't always this way though. I was a street cat as a kitten, and at the age of 6 months, I was pregnant with a litter. Before I gave birth, the local vet found me and brought me in. Once I had my kittens, the vet found a home for my kittens. It was, however, not so easy to find a home for me as I was certainly wild at the time. I was eventually adopted, and while it took more than a few weeks for me to adjust to life as a housecat, it was a happy life. Sadly, after six years, my owners were not able to keep me when they were expecting their first child.
