Adopted
I was rescued by the neighbourhood bully cat in late fall. The bully does not like most cats, but because of my kind and gentle nature, he told me to follow him and dropped me off on my rescuers' back stairs! I was really hungry and not doing too well. Thankfully my rescuers noticed me hanging around the bushes. They put food out for me, and eventually I trusted them enough to allow them to pat me. In fact, I soon became very friendly and affectionate, and couldn't get enough attention! My rescuers posted ads for me, filed a found report, even put a collar around my neck with a message asking if I belonged to anyone.... No one claimed me - so I am likely the result of another dumped or abandoned cat. I am a very laid-back, relaxed cat. I have no aggressiveness in me whatsoever. I get along with my foster's cats and got along with the cats outside. I LOVE company and am very chatty. I become very vocal when I need some company. Unlike many rescue kitties, I am not afraid of males and have bonded most closely to my foster dad. I have my foster dad well trained - as soon as I call, he comes in and spends time with me. He even gets up super early to feed me first thing! At night, when my fosters have put their kitties away, I come out of my foster room and explore the house. This is my favourite time of the day - where I get all the attention. I especially enjoy hanging out with my fosters on the couch when they watch tv. Since I have come inside, I have not miaowed once to go outside! I have done my time out there, and have no desire to go back out there! I am a good boy and only use the cat tree for my claws. I like looking out the window during the day, and sleep quietly most of the night. I am a big cuddler / snuggler, and love being picked up and held. If you are laying down and put me on top of you, I won't move. I'll stay for as many hours as you want to snuggle. I am very smart and a quick learner - you can teach me new tricks! I have been to the vet's and was treated for mites, fleas, parasites. I have been neutered and vaccinated, and tested negative for Feline leukemia and FIV. I was quite a mess - with lots of mats. It looked like I had been having a rough time outside for quite a while. I also got cleaned up at the vet's and the matts were shaved off. It was determined that I am about two years old. If you want a chatty, cuddly, affectionate, calm companion, I'm your boy! Please give me a chance at a loving permanent home and you will be rewarded with hours of purrs and snuggles....
