My nickname is Claudio, although I was named after the French sculptor,
Camille Claudel. I had a tough time outside. I had a terrible upper
respiratory infection - my eyes and nose were running, I couldn't
breathe very well, and I had a difficult time eating. Thankfully I was
brought inside, and taken to the vet for care. I had to go on
antibiotics, and because I was sick, I was isolated. That was the worst
part. I was used to being with my friends and family outside, and then
all of a sudden, I was isolated in a new environment. Thankfully I got
better quickly, and am now a very healthy cat. I am another one of
handsome orange / fawn, long-haired red-head brothers of the Group of
40, just about a year old. While I was in "isolation", my caregiver
befriended me and I appreciated being patted. I am friendly and
outgoing, once I trust you. Now that I am all energetic and healthy, I
love to play. I would love to be adopted with one of my brothers or
friends from outside into a permanent home. We would even appreciate a
long-term foster home - while we wait for our permanent home. We all get
along very well with other cats, and will likely bond to them faster
than to you! Will you please help us - so we don't have to go back
outside and face sickness, starvation and frostbite?
