I'm the sweet, handsome cuddly father of Twitch (aka Dazzle). I am two years old, very easy-going and laid back, and great with kids.

Despite having the nicest temperament ever, I had a rough couple of years. I was adopted as a kitten into a small apartment with three children and other cats. It was a busy place, and no one had much time for me. I was given a home flea remedy which led to me getting intestinal damage and having permanent diahrrea.

Like my son, we were later evicted by Children's Aid, so thankfully a rescuer took me in temporarily. I was taken to the vet for the diahrrea; advanced diagnosis and treatment included being on a specific veterinary diet and several medications for a year. I am now happy to announce that I am clear!! :) I am currently being weaned off the medications over a period that should end in the late fall 2014.  I may need a special diet and would definitely need to stay on probiotics, as I will likely always have a sensitive digestive system now.

My next adventure happened at my rescuer's home, when there was a break-in. The thief left an open window, and I got out. I had a terrible experience, as I had never been outside before. My rescuer kept calling and calling me, and left the window open in the hopes that I would come back inside. When I got brave enough, I crawled back in on my belly after 2 days. I was so traumatized after this ordeal, that I never went near that window ledge again. :(

Despite my eviction, being homeless, past tummy problems with all the poking and prodding during my vet visits, and living through the beak-in and being hungry outside for 2 days, I am still the sweetest and most cuddlesome guy who just loves people! I  love snuggling, getting belly rubs, and sleeping right beside you all night. I am also super playful and like playing catch! And I LOVE catnip!

I am neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and de-wormed. I love other cats and get along with everyone. I would love my own forever home with my own special person(s) to love.  I would be very happy to share with another cat, if that cat would be happy to share with me. 

I am just a handsome, sweet gentle guy who wants to settle down and never, ever leave you. I will bring my own suitcase filled with everything that I need to live with you, as well as enough love to fill your home to overflowing..... What more could anyone ask?
