Our mother LISGAR (aka CORINNA) is a beautiful, affectionate, young white cat with black spots. Despite this, she was abandoned at 7 - 8 months old. When her family moved, they threw her out with the trash, and she was suddenly fending for herself on the streets. The neighbours felt sorry for her, as she cried pitifully. They brought her food and water, and an independent rescuer eventually brought her inside.

She was outside for only a few weeks: unfortunately, during that time, she went into heat, and was pursued by a relentless black tom cat. She kept crying and trying to escape, but he would not leave her alone. So, she got pregnant, and is now terrified of black male cats! Her rescuer had a black male and she had terrible negative reactions when she saw him, but not with the other cats in the rescuer's home.

Our mom is a beautiful, petite girl, super affectionate and very vocal. Shortly after coming inside, she was taken in by the Rescue and adopted right away - one of the quickest adoptions in history! Her new family realized what a treasure she was and gave her the love and cuddles she was seeking in a real permanent home. They promised to never throw her out and love her forever. They understood she was pregnant, and still they adopted her and agreed to foster us kittens when we arrived!

And here we are!! On the evening of July 31, 2014, LISGAR gave birth to us: two sweet healthy little Calico babies.

Due to a recent online silent naming auction, we just received our names! The winner of the auction to raise funds for our vet care put in a bid to name us LULU and PAISLEY and here we are!
