Rowena was 6 weeks old (born July 30th 2010) and not even weened when she was rescued. She and two siblings, Arthur (who was blind) and Gwenevier, were born to a six month old abandoned kitten, Victoria, behind a house on Arthur Street.

Thanks to the people who had been feeding Victoria since she was a wee kitten, little Rowena was handled gently and treated with kindness. At six weeks of age she was a happy and playful little kitten who is very attached to her mother.

She is the shyest kitten in the trio but is learning to play and bond with her human foster mother..

Rowena will need to go to a home with one of her siblings or her mother, or with another nurturing animal.
