I am a very friendly, easy-going young guy - who is looking for a permanent home ASAP. I am very handsome - part Siamese and Snowshoe mix. I have a "smudge" on my nose - hence my name. In addition to my good looks, I have a great personality! I am very friendly and cuddly, and love to nuzzle and snuggle during nap time. When I was outside, I would approach people, rub against their legs, and roll over for scratches. They didn't realize that I was asking for help because someone abandoned me outside. They just thought I was being cute! I was first noticed in the neighgourhood for a few weeks - before my rescuer brought me inside. A found report was placed for me, and flyers were put out, but no one came looking for me.... Because I was not neutered, I regularly got into fights with other cats.Thankfully I didn't sustain any serious injuries. I was pretty hungry though, and survived by dumpster-diving and eating whatever scraps I could find in the garbage. It was well known in the neighbourhood that I would be crashing around in the garbage cans at night, but no one ever thought of helping me or giving me some good food to eat. Thankfully my rescuer noticed me, and didn't just pass by me like everyone else. She took me into her home and fed me some delicious food. Since I have come inside, I have been to the vet and cleaned up. I have been de-wormed, de-fleaed, vaccinated and neutered. I have been given a clean bill of health by the vet, and tested negative for FIV & feline leukemia! :-) I am just a young guy - one year old. Please think of me - when you're ready for a friendly, affectionate handsome young guy to keep you company for the rest of your life!
