I am a gorgeous long-hair black male cat, with ear tips that are missing due to frostbite. I am very young - about 9 months old - so my first winter outside was not much fun.:( In fact, it was pretty difficult, so I am very happy to be inside a foster home now. I came inside on one of the coldest winter nights!
I was fine when I first came inside, although soon I started to get sick. I didn't eat and I was throwing up. I was rushed to the Emergency Hospital where many tests were done. It turned out that I had gastric problems - probably from going from having no food to eating a lot! I was also dehydrated, so was given fluids. While I was at the Clinic, my foster and rescuer were with me, and I was very appreciative of their company. So much so, that even though I am normally very shy and scared, I was very happy to have them pat me and hold me. I trusted them because I knew they were trying to help me, and I enjoyed all the loving and attention! :)
I would also like to thank all the kind people who helped me and who donated to my Emergency Vet bill at the hospital. Hungry and Homeless Cat Rescue was drowning in vet bills, and some very kind people donated to my care in Emergency. Thank you for your help and saving my life - that was greatly appreciated.
I am now all fine and healthy, and have since been neutered, vaccinated, and de-wormed. I tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, and am ready for my permanent home! I am bonded to my little twin "sister" SPR#011 as well as my friend SPR#009. We are all in the same foster home together. I also get along well with the resident cats, so would do well in a home with other cats. I am a gentle, sweet, non-aggressive, non-dominant boy. And once you earn my trust, I will be a very loving an affectionate companion to you. I hope you will consider adopting me! :)
