Cat for Adoption
I am a handsome gray cat that looks like a Russian Blue cat. I was being fed outside by my rescuer, who was also feeding another cat - MR. TUX. As soon as MR. TUX went inside, then I started coming around more frequently, as I no longer had to share the food with anyone!
I am a very shy cat and was very scared when I came in. I was afraid of people that I didn't know and had a bad experience at the vet's. I popped out of the carrier, and when they went to grab me, I panicked so they had to chase me around for a while. Eventually I had my exam and was neutered. It was determined that I was about 3-4 years old. Sadly, I too was FIV+. However, I am a healthy cat showing no signs of the virus. I have been de-wormed, de-fleaed and vaccinated. I have a few battlewounds and scars on me, but I am still a gorgeous boy.
After my neuter and before going to my foster home, I was slowly getting more comfortable with my temporary caregiver. Today, I let her scratch my chin and face, and really enjoyed it.
I would need to be adopted by a very patient person who understands that it may take me a while to become comfortable with you and for you to earn my trust. But I will definitely be worth your patience! Beneath this fear, lies a very loving sweet boy who is just very scared.... Will you please give me a chance? I would probably do better in a home with another kitty to keep me company and show me the ropes!
